1. Muscle May

    So, yesterday afternoon, Jbird came into the bedroom with a proposition.  Wait, that sounded bad.  Let me explain.  Here’s how it went…

    J:  Okay, hear me out. I have an idea.
    Me (rapidly swinging my head in his direction, thinking):  Oh great.  Is this the whole “chicken farm on the rooftop” idea again?  Please, Lord, say it isn’t so…
    J:  Just for the month of May…
    Me (with tilted head and raised eyebrows in suspense, thinking):  Seriously?  Another Work Month 2010?  I can’t do it!  I love my friends!  I can’t clear my social schedge for another 31 days….don’t make me!!!!
    J:  So,  the whole month of May…
    Me (in a panic, thinking):  No!  It’s the hideous dentist chair conversation again.  I refuse to make that a part of our furniture collection!  I thought I had already made it clear that I am against watching television in a vintage dentist chair!
    J:  I make a workout plan for you and you have to do it for a month. 
    Me:  Sure.  I’m in.

    Later on in the conversation he swears to me that it has absolutely nothing to do with what my body looks like or what he wants my body to look like.  He explained that he has always wanted to test his workout on someone and since I’m trying to get my “pre-baby body” back I would be the perfect candidate.  Although it’s hard for me to believe him 100%, it’s a heck of a lot better than having a flock of chickens making their home on my rooftop. 

    Marriage.  It’s a give and take type of thing, really.

    Me in one month?
